DIY Garden Markers

April 15, 2015

My garden collection is growing so fast and, to be honest, it can be a little hard to tell some of this greenery apart! =)

I decided it was time for some Garden Markers! These little trinkets are super simple to make and I think they look adorable!

I started with a block of clay.  I got this at this at Michaels.  It’s no bake, air drying clay.

I also got a set of heart molds from Michaels.

Long story short, Michaels has EVERYTHING! =)

I rolled out the clay into about 1/4″ thickness and used the heart cookie cutter to stamp out the clay.

Next I used these letter stamps…

…and gently pressed them into the clay.

These are so easy to make…

I let them dry at room temp for two hours (follow the instructions on the clay you purchased) and put them next to each corresponding plant.  All together this was maybe 20 minutes of work, an hour of drying, and now I have custom garden decor that gives off that special home-made charm!

Hope you enjoy this post!
