Made with Love: Chai Tea Latte Recipes

October 3, 2014

Hi everyone! Hope you’re enjoying the cooler weather as much as I am.
Despite the SoCal seasons not having too much of a variance between one another, I’m a sucker for FALL. The colors, fashion, decor…I love it all! Especially, the hot spiced beverages.

My favorite for the season is a Chai Latte, and I’ve been seeing recipes all over Pinterest, so I’ve decided to put together three of my own.  Hope you enjoy!

First up is the classic CHAI TEA LATTE:

Start off by adding 2 cups of water to a medium mixing bowl…

…followed by 1/2 cup of milk.

Next start mixing in your dry ingredients.

Add 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg…

…1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves…

…1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom…

…an 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger…

…and a 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon.

Things should be smelling pretty yummy right about now!

Add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar…

…and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Give the mixture a quick stir, and pour it into a medium sauce pan over medium heat.

Continue stirring the heated mixture until it begins to boil. Once it boils remove from heat…

…and add two black tea bags of your choice.

Let the tea steep for 5 minutes, remove tea bags, and enjoy this seasonal fave of mine!

Chai Latte Ingredients:

2 Cups of Water
1/2 Cups of Milk
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
1/4 Teaspoon of Ground Cardamom
1/8 Teaspoon of Nutmeg
1/4 Teaspoon of Ground Ginger
1/4 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
2 Black Tea Bags

Next up is the scrumptious PUMPKIN SPICE CHAI TEA LATTE. This is the ultimate mix of fall flavors and spices!

Start by measuring out a 1/3 cup of pumpkin puree.

Pumpkin Puree

…and adding it to a medium mixing bowl.

Add 2 cups of milk…

…2 tablespoons of maple syrup…

…and 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.

Mix in 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon…

…1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg…

…1/8 teaspoon of all spice…

all spice

… and 1/8 teaspoon of ginger…

Mix it all together and pour into a medium sauce pan over medium heat.

As the mixture heats, continuously stir to avoid the mix boiling over.

Once the mixture beings to boil, add two black tea bags to the pan and remove from heat.

Allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes and then remove the tea bags.

Pour into your favorite mug, top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg, and sip up. I know you’ll love this recipe!

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and
now each time a comment is added I get three e-mails with the
same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
