Skin Savers

September 5, 2014
For daily skincare I use a combination of different products by Kate Somerville, Origins, Dr. Hauschka, and Tarte, depending on what I feel my skin needs at the time. Obviously, I don’t use all of the products listed below at once. That would clog my pores, and take a very long time to apply!
Just think of these as recommendations for things to pick up and choose according to your skin’s personal needs.

Skin Savers

Cleanser First Aid Beauty – Mild cleanser for everyday use.

Retin-A Dermatologist – A powerful skin refining cream that must be prescribed by a dermatologist. Excellent for breakouts, enlarged pores, and sun damage.

Retinol Kate Somerville – a mild version of retin-a, that can be purchased over the counter. Retinol cream is great for anti- aging, and evening out the skin tone.

Eye Gels ToGoSpa – I buy these at a pro beauty shop called Naimies, but you can find gel patches anywhere. They’re fantastic for special events, or days when your eyes feel a little too puffy.

Eye Cream Tarte -The skin around the eyes is particularly fragile. A mild eye cream is an essential in my skincare routine.

Face Serum Kate Somerville – Anti aging treatment serum for every day use. This is usually applied before a moisturizer.

Face Cream Dr Hauschka – perfect for everyday use, and not too heavy. It also smells gorgeous.

Face Moisturizer Origins – Antioxidant rich moisturizer for dryer skin. Gives your skin extra protection from free radicals on the skin.

Hope you enjoyed today’s post!

Great post! I always wondered if serum should go over or under a moisturizer. I’ve done it both ways, but now I know!
Do you usually use your retinol before or after moisturizer?

I still need to try First Aid Beauty. Everyone raves about it! I have been looking for a good eye cream (although the Raisin Face moisturizer I use also doubles as an eye cream). Tarte is one of my favorite brands, so I might give it a try!
