Skin and Total Body Supplements

December 29, 2014

Every new year, I always make new goals. I think most people do. Many people make goals in regards to their health, love life, job, ect. There are so many ways to start fresh. One of my goals this year was to be even more mindful of what I’m putting into my body. It’s easy for me to become lazy, and forget that I need to always take care of my body. I wanted to find a supplement program, and these were my first choice. I have been wanting to try these supplements for YEARS, ever since I worked at a little beauty shop that sold them. Before my wedding in 2007, I did the Perricone challenge diet for healthier skin and hair. It made SUCH a difference!!! My skin was literally glowing for months due to the omegas, antioxidants, and salmon that the diet called for. It was lots of green tea, berries, salmon and spinach. It made me feel amazing, and look fantastic! It’s really my ideal diet. You are not deprived of food, but rather feeding your body with healthy fuel that it can properly use.

His supplements are a big part of his regime, so I was excited to get them and try them for myself. Along with healthy eating habits, I’ve always been an advocate for taking supplements. It is always important to have a personal physician with whom you speak to about supplements, as some can interfere with medications ect. I will keep you posted on the results, once I’ve finished the entire kit.

hope you enjoyed this post

I am tempted by supplements, but other then my prenatals I haven’t taken any yet. Older supplements proved to be harmful for the body, and even if that was some time ago and they have surely evolved, I am still a little wary.
A healthy diet should cover the majority of your needs.
Please keep us posted on how they work for you.

I’ve been watching your videos for a while and have heard you mention a while back that you did the perricone diet before your wedding. I’m getting married in August this year and am thinking about doing the diet but I was wondering if you had any other tips and tricks that you used and can share with upcoming brides about how to make our skin glow? Everything you always say about skincare is so valuable so any advice would be much appreciated!
