What You’ll Need:
2-3 Celery Sticks (or tops, celery scraps work too)
2-3 Large Carrots
1 Onion Chopped
2-4 Sprigs Rosemary
2-3 Sprigs Thyme
1/2 Tablespoon Pepper Corns
Left Over Roasted Chicken w/Bones Included
Gather your ingredients for your stock.
I like to use herbs from our garden, including rosemary & thyme
I use root vegetables like celery, carrots, and onion for my stock.
I cut a whole onion in half, and cut the carrots and celery in half to fit into a large stock pot.
Fill a large stock pot with filtered water.
Bring the pot to a boil and let simmer.
If you want a quick stock, you can simmer for 2 hours, or a rich stock/ bone broth can simmer on low for 4-8 hours.
Strain and store the stock in glass jars.
Refrigerate and use within a week, or freeze/ freeze dry for longer storage.
Enjoy!
