Warm Apple Crisp

What You’ll Need:

3-4 Medium Apples (I use Honey Crisp apples) Peeled and Chopped (into small squares)

1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar

2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of Salt

Crumble:

1/2 Cup AP Flour

1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

1 Pinch Salt

5 Tbsp Unsalted Cold Butter

Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Peel and core the apples. Cut into small squares.

Add fresh lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and salt to the apples. Toss and coat evenly with a fork or spoon.

Pour the apples evenly in a cast iron skillet.

With a fork, mix the flour, cinnamon, brown sugar & salt.

With a fork, slowly cut in the cold butter to create a flaky crumble.

Add crumble to the top of the apples.

Place the skillet in the oven, and bake for 25-30.

The top should be golden brown, and the apples should be bubbling.

Top with vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream.

ENJOY!!
